      The story of Gluckigluck

Gluckigluck is not just a label, but a brand with a fascinating history dating back to the 19th century. Originally developed in England, the first Gluckigluck ceramic carafe was created in the shape of a fish , also known as the "Guggle Jug." It owes its name to the gurgling sound it makes when pouring, giving it a distinctive character. This humorous yet elegant carafe has managed to establish itself as a timeless design element over the decades. To this day, Gluckigluck is synonymous with quality and tradition , respecting its origins while adding a modern touch.

      What makes Gluckigluck unique

What truly sets Gluckigluck apart from other labels is the combination of traditional design and functional utility . The iconic fish shape of the carafes, available in a variety of colors, is an extraordinary eye-catcher in any home . Gluckigluck carafes are more than just vessels; they are works of art that can serve as both a carafe and a vase . The playful character and the gurgling sound when pouring make every pour an experience.

The original Gluckigluck – by Veronica Pohle.

Our exceptional pieces are originals – not imitations, but genuine Gluckigluck carafes, rooted in British craftsmanship. Only the original Gluckigluck carafes, which are of course available in our store, produce the characteristic gurgling sound. Counterfeits, often made from inferior materials in Asia, are not sustainably produced and cannot produce this distinctive gurgling sound. Some are not even approved for drinking. Therefore, they are used only as vases.

      Gluckigluck: Master of Diversity

Veronica Pohle offers the original carafes in XL size , fulfilling the desire for a larger, more eye-catching design object. Whether in classic or modern color variations, Gluckigluck carafes blend perfectly into any interior and offer endless design possibilities. The large carafes are not only a visual highlight, but also extremely practical for larger gatherings or as impressive vases that add that certain something to any flower arrangement. The Gluckigluck can be used in a variety of ways, and the various colors make it an indispensable decorative element.
