Die ausgefallene Keramikkaraffe in Fischform, auch "Gluckigluck" genannt, verdankt ihren Namen dem glucksenden Geräuschen beim Einschenken. Die witzigen und zugleich eleganten Karaffen können auch als Vasen verwendet werden. Durch die vielen Farbvarianten können sie als dekoratives Element jedes Zuhause bereichern.

 

Die Karaffen sind aus britischer Keramik und werden von Wade Ceramics in Handarbeit hergestellt. Durch die manuelle Fertigung kann es zu leichten Farbabweichungen kommen. Die Karaffen sind außerdem lebensmittelgeeignet und zertifiziert.

Luckyluck

The gurgling Gluggle Jugs were developed in the late 1870s by Thomas Forester & Son in Staffordshire. They became popular through the Dartmouth Pottery, which marketed the fish-shaped water jug as "Gurgling Fish Jug—a novelty that always attracts attention."

In 1958, the Commandant of the Britannia Naval College commissioned a special pair of tankards for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. They were glazed green and inscribed with the royal insignia and the date. The gift transformed the tankard into a cult object.

In 2023, Gluckigluck GmbH ("The Gluggle Jug Factory") took over production. Since then, the original Gluckigluck carafes have continued to be produced in England – authentic , high-quality , and distinctive .
