Luckyluck

The gurgling Gluggle Jugs were developed in the late 1870s by Thomas Forester & Son in Staffordshire. They became popular through the Dartmouth Pottery, which marketed the fish-shaped water jug as "Gurgling Fish Jug—a novelty that always attracts attention."

In 1958, the Commandant of the Britannia Naval College commissioned a special pair of tankards for Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. They were glazed green and inscribed with the royal insignia and the date. The gift transformed the tankard into a cult object.

In 2023, Gluckigluck GmbH ("The Gluggle Jug Factory") took over production. Since then, the original Gluckigluck carafes have continued to be produced in England – authentic , high-quality , and distinctive .

Gluckigluck GmbH donates a portion of the proceeds from each Gluckigluck to research into the SYNGAP1 gene . Alterations in this gene can cause learning difficulties, seizures, hyperactivity, and sleep disorders. Donations go to Leon & Friends or specific research projects.
